They are very helpful, and are in the process of computerizing these records, which do include Civil War Burials. Burials that took place in Mound City National Cemetery, in Alexander County, can also be found here. For information on obtaining military records in the St. Louis, MO area, visit this site: The National Personnel Records Center. According to Jefferson Barracks Personnel, inquiries about the hospital that was located nearby, during the Civil War, should be sent to the National Personnel Records Center.
